Investments in high-quality equipment, facility and technical staff
enable Hong Video Technology (HVT) to deliver practical solutions
to most display problems. Here's how some customers have
benefited from our services:
- Integration - The customer required a touch panel to be integrated
to a 3.7" LCD display. HVT designed and fabricated the tooling to
meet the customer's alignment specification of +/- 0.5mm and
throughput of 600 units per month.
- Enhancement - To improve brightness, the customer required
lamination of a special polarizer film to a 3.9" display. HVT assisted
the customer in sourcing the material and developed the tooling
necessary to meet the customer's throughput of 500 units per month.
- Rework - The customer required an existing surface mount connector
to be replaced with a new connector. HVT designed and fabricated the
fixtures required to meet the customer's required throughput of 150
units per day.
- Quick Turn Prototype - The customer required low volume
pre-production units to be ACF bonded and assembled for
testing. The customer required a 5-day turnaround. HVT
exceeded the customer's expectation by delivering units in
1 to 2 days.
- ACF Bonding - The customer required a 5 X 5 avionic LCD panel
to be bonded to PCB using ACF. HVT developed and fabricated
the fixtures required to meet the customer's qualification deadline.
- EOL Support: - The customer required EOL product support for
500,000 units deployed in the field. To meet the customer's
requirement, HVT developed a process that delivered 400
repaired panels per day.
